Alpha Solar Technologies Pty Ltd (AST), an Australian high-tech company, has invented and commercialised a world-leading technology that produces high-efficiency (exceeding 80% the efficiency of conventional PV modules) high-definition Building-Integrated PhotoVoltaic (BIPV) modules that can turn high-rises and urban structures into stylish solar farms. These BIPV modules can be used for claddings, roofs, balustrades, windows, pathways, sound barriers and screens. 

Commercial properties are currently restricted to their roof space to generate electricity using standard solar panels. AST’s BIPV modules generate energy on-site, thus reducing the demands on the Grid and assisting countries to progress towards net zero environments.

AST work with Tier 1 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to develop the most efficient and reliable BIPV modules. We are able to produce more than 30,000,000+ m2 annually.
