While Elevator Design Services is newer to the market, we are by no means new to elevators.  Founder Tim Toan has 40+ years in the elevator industry and partnerships with leaders in manufacturing, consulting, and installation.  EDS is a Chicago based company that specializes in custom elevator designs, non-proprietary MRL packages, as well as custom residential elevators.  We also develop and test new products for the elevator industry and are the proud birthplace of the HydraSafe Brake.
