Maxell, has launched the Maxell Airtight Products System or, M.A.P. System, which is the most efficient and superior performance solution for sealing penetrations in exterior walls for residential and commercial construction applications.  The M.A.P. System provides airtight and moisture management products for exterior and interior membrane, sheathing, and pipe penetrations.

Products commonly used today around pipe penetrations are spray foam, adhesive tape, or grommets that are affixed by taping or nailing.All of these products come with their own installation issues and are time consuming, with large variations between workers on how they are installed.Because of these various issues, we have developed high-quality, easy-to-use products for airtightness and weatherproofing around exterior  penetrations.  All our grommets are just a peel and stick, self-adhesive 1-step process to install around the exterior penetration.

All M.A.P. System products are AAMA711-13 approved and compliant to all IBC and IRC codes for exterior penetration sealing.
